We spent the first part of our honeymoon in Oban, then carried on to Skye and home via Pitlochry and Edinburgh. All spectacular places!

We also love Oban been there a few times on our coach holidays to Scotland.

One of the boats in the first photo Jane Mc Donald featured a cruise on it, on one of her TV programmes, it was not the Ferry.

Oh you have to visit Carol. It’s such a pretty fishing town. The seafood is amazing. You can take the ferry to many of the islands.

I was thinking of the one she did on Glen Tarsan one of the small ships in my first photo.

For the first time, cruise Guru Jane McDonald decided to try a small-ship cruise as part of her new series “Cruising with Jane McDonald”. The broadcast of her experience on board a mini-cruise vessel has set our very niche sector of cruising alight.

Jane joined a group of shipmates on board our mini-cruise vessel Glen Tarsan, in May 2016 for a 6-night cruise around the Island of Mull in the Inner Hebrides. To our delight, the programme managed to encapsulate, in a very evocative way, why our mini-cruise vessels and the Hebrides are so special.

I couldn’t see your first photo Del. I watched Jane on the teeny weeny but with a big price tag Glen Tarsan. Loved the ports she visited but ship too wee for me.
