The idiots are on the march again panic buying. Does anyone know why they target toilet rolls.

Appalling scaremongering article by the DM.

I understand around about this time of the year supermarkets are rearranging and clearing some shelves to make room for Christmas goods. Is that why there are images of empty shelves or are they from March?

A bit slow. Reports from Dorset 10 days ago they had already started stockpiling.

The Daily Mail is perfect for that. Along with the Daily Express and the Telegraph.

No evidence of stockpiling this morning, although I did buy a large packet of Weetibix which won't be needed for three weeks.

It was on offer so rude not to!!!

Not noticed it at the Tesco by my work.

My son's partner bought two ENORMOUS sacks of self-raising and plain flour during the first lockdown... not stockpiling, it was just that that was how the warehouse sold the flour. Her interest in home baking only lasted for about a fortnight, so she now has enough to keep the whole street going for weeks.

Now let me think...? Yes I did it was threaded onto a piece of string and hung on a nail in the toilet outside. One thing you needed to be was choosy which newspaper you used because the print use to come off on some papers.

Toilet paper was a luxury for us! Newspaper was the norm. What gets me is that the drains never got blocked, but now anything other than proper toilet paper seems to cause havoc.

                            Or maybe you can.......

A new player is entering the game — and it means business.

It’s called Whypit, and not only does it give a new meaning to the term “software as a service,” but it’s poised to revolutionize the world of personal hygiene. Here’s how it works:
                            • Smartphone-wielding users experiencing a bowel movement open up the mobile app.
                            • From there, users order an independently contracted “sanitation concierge.”
                            • Much like Uber drivers, local sanitation concierges will locate your geographic coordinates and arrive promptly at your location.
                            • The sanitation concierge will then provide a “frictionless solution empowering you to seamlessly remain engaged with your phone as you do your business.”

Forget ever being No. 2. This app is sailing straight to No. 1.
