    Don't worry... it's probably just 'Lydia' shark....

      Not for me, I feel uneasy looking at the pictures. Does it have an escape hatch?

        Oh dear, Pippa - don't blame you for beating a hasty retreat from "the crack" !!!

        That would freak even me out and I don't mind heights, so I don't want to think what hubby would make of it

        Cheers,
        Lynn

          Apparently there will be a lift leading up to a pier on the surface but I think I'd rather have an escape pod with Barbara Bach as company

              [QUOTE=Pippa, Kernow;601862]Hahaha Lynn, talking of cracks in glass.... you've just reminded me of something.

              However, it was only when we'd been standing there admiring the scenery for about 10 minutes that we realised that one of the glass panels had a whopping great big crack in it! You should have seen us... we moved like greased lightning to terra firma! lol

              ]

              We had a similar "crack in glass" moment on the viewing platform of the World Trade Centre in Xmas 2000. We moved pretty swiftly too

                  I can just about visit the Sealife centre for a couple of hours! Would rather be above the waves then under them but this does look fabulous

                      No way could I sleep there. As others have said I would be afraid of the glass breaking. As we live near the "Blue Planet" I can go there to see the fish. Has anybody gone into a sharks' tank - my grandson has and loved it but I hated watching him. LINDA

                            I guess it would be like a role reversal where the fish get to watch us in a tank instead and saying "aren't they cute" to each other. Just so long as the big ones don't tap the side to wake us up.
