Off on my travels day Cologne

Ok well we arrived into Cologne at dinner it is a stunning city really nice and welcoming plenty of shops bars restaurants and the Christmas markets are amazing very busy though, so we didn't spend much time there as you could not move. Any way back to the boat this boat has a sauna and a small gym on the lower deck it has a very spacious restaurant and this is buffet breakfast and then served dinner and tea. It has a bar with live music of an afternoon and in the evening they also do daily drinks of the day that are a lot cheaper. There is a small library with a good selection of books and has a games table for you to play cards and board games etc. On the top deck there is a very spacious sun deck and there is table tennis on there also. One of the main bonuses of a river cruise so far I feel is you are so much closer to the cities you are visiting so there is no need for taxis or travel you can just walk. Here are a few snaps I have taken in Cologne and some of the boat we are on.

Hi Malcolm it is mainly Dutch and English on this sailing and there is a mix of all ages when it is a mini cruise like this doing the Christmas markets you will get a more of a mix but i would say the average age on a normal river cruise will be around the 40+.
