HAL Introduces Non-Refundable Deposits for North America

    Hi All

I picked this up from cc.

Our American friends are not happy.

HAL is introducing non-refundable deposits on some fares. In fact it is now allegedly the default pricing.

If you want your deposit refundable, you must contact the company for a price.

Good news, and about time too.

Looks like they are all going that way, then. Americans are not happy about it, but they are the ones who book cruises as placeholders and then move the booking or cancel, sometimes just before the final payment date.
