Nominated godmother, and lovely singer/actress, Jennifer Hudson named Disney's newest 'Dream' in Port Canaveral today.
Disney CEO Bob Iger kicked off the ceremony, and a drumline from Bethune-Cookman University helped get the show started.
Later during the christening ceremony, Hudson performed the song "Who Knows Where a Dream Might Lead."
It was a bit of a nostalgic homecoming for Hudson, who worked as a cast member on the Disney Wonder in 2003, before auditioning for "American Idol" - which she won of course. Then won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in the film adaptation of "Dreamgirls" in 2006. Her debut album in 2008 won three Grammy Awards. She ain't done too badly eh? :D
