    Viking Jupiter returns to port

It looks like Viking's run of bad luck is continuing, their newest ship Viking Jupiter has returned to Tilbury having suffered electrical/propulsion problems.

    More to follow

Same for me, but even on the Thursday it gets so busy, suspect that today will be my last visit, the magic has definitely gone now.

They left port at around 1am and are now heading up to Edinburgh ETA 4am tomorrow.

    hopefully without further ship incidents.

The pax my be moaning about the new itinerary as it look like they may be dropping one or both Kirkwall & Lerwick

The owner must be wishing he had never got involved in cruising. Beautiful ships but they seem to be having more than their fair share of problems...Carol

AIS shows she did not get far

    Leaving Geenwich around 1:00am
    Past Tilbury around 3:00am
looks like problems started around 4:30am
Got as far as north of Herne bay around 6am
drifted around for about for a few hours before limping back to Tilbury around 11am
    Docked up around 14:30pm
    Thanks, for the update
