Oceania Cruises announces 2014 summer collection

    *Official Press Release

Has anyone been with Oceania? If so how do they compare to other brands? The closest I've been to a luxury cruise would be Cunard.

Oceania Cruises has unveiled its 2014 Summer Collection detailing 90 voyages, 10 new ports of call, an almost entirely new line-up of European itineraries and the highly anticipated return of Insignia. The line’s five ships – Riviera, Marina, Regatta, Insignia and Nautica – will sail to more than 180 destinations throughout the world. The 2014 cruise collection features 70 European cruises, 93 percent of which are new itineraries, plus 10 Alaska voyages, seven all-new Canada/New England cruises and three Panama Canal voyages.

Yes have sailed on Riviera and apart from the price of drinks plus the 18% gratuity they are far better than other cruise lines we have cruised on. All the speciality restauants are in the cost of the cruise and you are allowed to have one reservation in each. They also have a MDR and a great buffet area that you can eat in.
The Riviera is very luxurios with lots of marble and you have a bath and two showers in each cabin whatever the grade or location.
We loved it so much that we booked two further cruises on the line.
Just read Neil Downs report on Riviera on this web site.
