The shape of things to come?

Saw this cartoon on Facebook and thought it pretty well summed up how most people currently feel about cruise ships. I definitely have no notion of booking anything till the situation has fully settled (if ever!!)

Oh dear that's sad. I will be booking as soon as we get the all clear and cruise ships are sailing again.

If I could, I’d be on the first I could get.

I don't think anyone will be booking any holidays anywhere until it is all over.

At least with a cruise ship you know how thoroughly it will have been cleaned and sanitised in every nook and cranny. Not necessarily so for many hotels. Also a cruise ship has the added benefit of on board medical facilities.

Far too early to say. I rule nothing out.

Not only will we book for next year, but we have already done so. Without wishing my life away, looking forward to them.

Cant book anything at moment as due to FOC advice I cant get any insurance along with most other people. Even our if we booked now with our annual policy it would not pay out in the future as at the time of booking FOC advice said no travel. I think that cruses company are going to struggle to keep in business unless people are willing to book without insurance, I am not sure even if you booked with a cr card they would pay out.

Our bookings are transfer bookings under Cunard's generous offer. On one cruise, the cabin we wanted had already sold out so we’re waitlisted.
Should those cruises not go ahead, it’s money back or transfer again.
Either way, a bird in the hand guarantees the cabin we want on most of our bookings.
                Happy Days. Hopefully.

This can't go on forever and as soon as it is deemed safe I will be back sailing.

No guarantee that another virus won't hit us again in the future so I will not let it stop me planning and looking forward to other cruises...Carol
