      Asking around,,,one of those loaders costs around £100,000 and a small 'can' or 'pod' £3000 each.

        Lease them - as most everything nowadays. How much is the cost of a plane sitting on the ground waiting on cases being loaded/unloaded?

          Hi Bill
          They lease some,own some.
          One baggage handling company has been moving equipment,ie compressors,tugs,hi loaders around airports,,,,keeping those the own,taking the ones they rent off lease.
