I met a retired lady on a cruise who was very 'ordinary'. However she told me that her son was an 'achiever' and had a top job. He owned his own yacht.

She made me laugh at dinner. She said: "I do not like it at all, it's just like caravanning, but with sea sickness".

No appeal whatsoever. I like mixing with people from different countries and walks of life. You'd lead a pretty isolated existence on this gilded cage, but you could be miserable in comfort I suppose.

Having only our daughter and son in law with whom we would choose to holiday, I think we might rattle around a bit on a yacht. Imagine feeling responsible for everyone's enjoyment, or otherwise. I prefer to meet other people on board. However, a lottery win would mean many more cruises!

Well, I suppose if I had to..... Looks fab but you would need plenty of friends and family on, Otherwise as was mentioned I think I would get a bit lonely. Jan.

I agree plus I don't like the furniture.

No-one really needs all that do they?

              Not for me.

It would be a very easy way to turn a large fortune into a small fortune, not for me either.

I would however like to look round one of these mega yachts, not holding my breath

At £1M per week minimum I don't think my lottery win would last very long!

I'd much rather be very comfortable for life than live like this for a few years before having nothing.

It would be a great idea for a forum cruise.

Depending on how many you are trying to accommodate(not everyone has enough cruising family friends) taking over a ship in a ship space may be more appropriate and better value.

More facilities to cater to a multi generational family an options for people to spread out.

A double garden villa on NCL can do 15-20 live in easy and throw in a few other cabins 50 would be OK just hanging out.

Take over one of the NCL Haven or MSC yacht club for a group, you get to say who can "visit" from the lesser cabins.

Wouldn't squander my millions for a week, would want to enjoy them sensibly with family members.

You'd need more than a win of more than a few millions to stock that with champers and smoked salmon... not to mention beautiful models to lie out on deck...
