We go on our first cruise Monday, we have been given our boarding time and our train gets us to Southampton a good two hours beforehand. What I would like to know is whether we are able to drop our luggage off, I believe our luggage goes one place and we go someplace else.
thanks in advance for any information.

there's not much else to do, so you may as well get yourselves on board and start enjoying the facilities

Originally posted by Malcolm, Essex View PostIt depends on your viewpoint. There's the 'Titanic Trail' (various monuments and buildings), the QE2 Achor to see and the little Maritime Museum. Let alone the shops and 'Cobwebs' nuatical antique shop.

Sounds just like my wife.
On a trip to Malta a few years ago, when wandering through Valetta, she spotted M & S. She told me that she wanted to pop in for a wee while. I pointed out that she could go to M & S anytime in various parts of Glasgow, but it was her contention, that this one might be different!!!
So from my point of view, get on board asap and head for the pub. The ladies can always board later.

Not much to do! A few minutes away from WestQuay and one of my favourite places - John Lewis!!

We'll be there a week on Sunday and aim to arrive just before midday (Cunard). As we'll be "Priority) we expect to be in our room before 1230 hrs.
Happy cruising, but you do realise, I hope, that you'll probably become an addict.

Hi, bet your very excited. Don't worry about your boarding time, as soon as you arrive if the ship has started boarding you can go on.
What ship are you sailing on? and where are you going?
We usually arrive about 11.00 and have been on board as early as 11.30 before.
Have a great time.............................................. ............................Carol
