I was given a demonstration the other day...can't understand it personally, but then I've never got past Tetris or Pacman!!!

When I read that Angry Birds was the reason the phone was in use, I immediately took that to mean dissatified girlfriends checking up on their men
I gather from reading further its a game..Carol

Me too! The only games I play on my laptop are Hearts and Freecell. I had never heard of 'Angry Birds'- what a sheltered life I lead.

                Beware of HTC

HTC copied iPhone and I believe there is a court case where Apple are sueing Android for blatently copying iPhone technology.

A copy can never be as good as the original. Look at Windoze, all copied stuff, microsoft never innovate, they can only imitate and it shows.

Look at the Russian Concordski which crashed.

Yes HTC is cheaper, but it shows, my friend has one and it is always playing up, she's saving up for an iPhone.

Personally I find it sad that the thirty-somethings are welded to their smart phones, you can't say anything before the phone is out, and your information is checked on the internet. Sadly, husband's choice of beer was shown to be rubbish/pedestrian (according to the smart phone reviewer ) -just glad that husband didn't know! My daughter uses it at family mealtimes - pardon me for being "a bit/very" old-fashioned, but family meals always meant an opportunity for families to talk to each other.

Well I was pleased to see Nurse Bluemoon return today after a two month absence of posting. I was concerned that she had been eaten by her 'android'. She has obviously tamed it.

I was at the gym yesterday and part of my programme was a 10 minute session on a running machine (or is it a treadmill?) Anyhow, on the machine next to mine was a woman of about 30 who, during the course of the my session, made about 8 or 9 calls on her mobile. During one of them she told the person at the other end that she was 31 weeks pregnant and was trying to "book ahead for the baby to have a place in a nursery" ! I looked over at that and she did have a bump alright . Most of the calls seemed to be to be chit chat to her friends and she also called her husband about 2 or 3 times at his work. All this time she had been running and to cap it all, she was flicking through a cookery book laid on consul of the machine!! Oh, and I nearly forgot the 2 job interviews she was fishing for on the mobile! Amazing what you can hear being only about a foot away. After I moved on to the next exercises, and eventually finished the session (about 40 minutes) I noticed she was still at it, mobile clapped to her ear. I know women are supposed to be best at multitasking, but this was beyond belief!

                        Scary or what?
