    Princess Transfer Coach Issues??

    Hi All

There are reports that a transfer coach of passengers from Glasgow was refused embarkation as 2 passengers tested positive. People were unhappy - understatement.

It is further reported that the driver did not check all the paperwork.

Moral of the story - if possible, don't use a coach transfer during these times ?? Not always an option I know.

I booked a cruise in 2019 for 2020 and booked parking shortly after, cruise was cancelled so I moved it and parking to 2021, cruise was was again cancelled so this time I opted for a full refund.

CPS refunded my parking within two weeks of cancellation, no quibble or hassle, far different to obtaining cruise refund from P&O, this took 90 days.

That's the way to do it.
get on with life and roll with any inconvenience if you have to go home.

We did a busy outdoor concert the day before we left for our cruise.
if we were denied boarding drive home with a future cruise credit.

Not everyone lives within driving distance of the embarkation port

Is there a limit on how far people are allowed to drive?

                      Hi TD
If you'd caught covid on your night out before embarkation what would be the chances of an LFT proving positive?

No but comfortably within a 6 hour period ??

I know I would be ever so slightly unhappy after using coach transfer from Glasgow to be denied boarding. I wonder what arrangements were made to get them home or was it DIY??

From Scotland the likelihood is the driver would have been out of hours.

I know that Garf unless the coach company assigned 2 drivers to the job which I have seen in the distant past.
