    P&O International Cruising To Restart.

Just had this from P&O on my Facebook page.

P&O Cruises president Paul Ludlow said: We are absolutely delighted with todayโ€™s announcement from the UK Government that international cruising can resume from the UK.

Britannia has been sailing UK coastal cruises since the end of June and Ionaโ€™s very special maiden voyage will leave next Saturday August 7.

Our international cruise holidays on both ships are set to start from September 25 with Britannia sailing to the Mediterranean and Iona to Spain, Portugal and the Canary Islands.

This is the news we have been working towards and hoping for and we cannot wait to welcome you back on board.

      Donโ€™t know I havenโ€™t asked them

Think on what they say will depend on whether excursions will be allowed.๐Ÿ˜ณ

They have to agree to be allowed to dock before they can consider excursions.

I would think before announcing cruises to these countries, they would have first checked docking arrangements.

Or they just do the same as they have been doing, let you book and then change the itinerary. With the rules changing daily there is little point in checking todays docking arrangemnt.

That worked well for Scottish ports.

The cruises have been on the schedules for months.

That is exactly what they have said 'Because of the traffic light system' a number of cruises will have their itineraries changed! ...........................................Carol

Scotland/Greenock stopped the unvaccinated MSC ship from docking then banned other ships from docking due to our covid levels.
don't want to work, just want to cruise.

                              Thanks Carol.

Over the years I got used to negative posts on this forum especially in regards to P&O, but water and ducks backs come to mind.

I only posted what I had received, nothing more nothing less.๐Ÿคญ๐Ÿ˜Ž
