Princess fleet is untouched and HAL has still smaller older tonnage.

Another article I've read mentions Sun Princess potentially being sold to Peace Boat.

I think they are just waiting on the ink to dry.

PS At least you have the old Rotterdam coming to Liverpool.

No - there are 12 ships in the group older apparently.

I assume it's not just about age, but popularity and overheads etc.

Aurora at 20 years old has at least another 5-10 good years in her, but does she fit in with the exisiting fleet?

Hi Annie, yes its good news that Borealis is doing a more extended season in Liverpool as ,after CMV's demise, its the only ship offering Liverpool turnarounds at present.
I may have to give it a try sometime though I didnt enjoy my one experience of Fred Olsen so far on Braemar .

                        Great, thanks

Carnival Cruise Line today announced the sale of Carnival Fascination and Carnival Imagination, which had previously been put on long-term lay-up status and removed from published itineraries.

Both ships are expected to be scrapped
