Fancy a cruise with 6,850 passengers?

    The vertical bow seems to be “in” at the moment. Celebrity Edge, Virgin Scarlet Lady and now this one.

    Does it give a smoother ride or better fuel economy or more space below decks for the same overall length than the traditional raked bow designs of the last few years. I can’t imagine cruise ship owners are following “fashion”, there is too much money at stake.


      The size of the ship may be a blessing in disguise, It may be big, but if the authorities limit the number of passengers for social distancing then there would be more space on board for those travelling.
      I personally enjoy MSC and take "customs" of passengers, as part of the away experience.


        It all depends what you classify as cruising. 6000+ passengers on one ship is not my idea of cruising.
