Hi Garf
I did think when I wrote it, Iron Maiden may get a mention 😃
Agree re the line up, as well as Tony Hadley, the only other one would be Alexandra Burke.
La Voix and Band seem to get good reviews, know nothing about them other than what I have googled, are also making appearances on Brittania.

Standard practice for headliners on music cruises is allocated performance with a standby line for those that want to go more than once.
Looks like that will only happen for Tony Hadley.
He was on the RCI one we did 2018 a mix of new solo stuff and the hits.
Very social hung out around the ship.

I think they are appearing in the Limelight Club which is one of the speciality restaurants on board P&O ships, for which there is a surcharge, it has limited seating hence the tickets. I would not eat in there as the special menu does not appeal.
I did the Limelight Club on Britannia,,loved it.
I think it was £24 each,,well worth it,,,just like the old Dinner/Caberet clubs we used to go to in the North of England years ago.
Anyone remember the Garrick Club in Leigh or Wakefield or Batley Variety Clubs?

I take you know that La Voix is a drag queen?
As you say she's supposed to be very good but a bit risque at times.

Don’t have a clue Annie as the ship is still in the building process, but the limelight club the only venue which is ticketed, not very big if this video of it on Britannia is anything to go by.
I think they have pitched the musical line-up OK for a British passenger list.
Who did people think would turn up?
Annie
PS I am curious if Gary Barllow had any input?

Yes I did realise, I don’t mind a bit risqué, cannot be any worse than the drag acts that used to frequent the Gay pubs my wife and I have visited in the East End Of London many years ago.

I Liked the old Cabaret Clubs, I like the idea it was the menu which was putting me off, although I have read a post on fb of somebody who was allowed to choose from the MDR menu.

I wanted to see Gabrielle, she's in the Limelight, but the menu, is not to my taste at all, so not sure.
I think it's a pretty good line up, I've seen some of them before, and they are all entertaining. I'm really looking forward to the maiden, so we'll see how it goes. It will all work out perfectly or there will be a lot of disappointed people who can't get to see who they want to.
Hopefully everyone on board will be like all of you who don't want to see any of them and then there will be no problem................................................... .Carol
