Adventure of the Seas .vs. IOTS

We went on our first cruise this year on the IOTS and thoroughly enjoyed it. We are now looking at going on the Adventure of the seas but the balconies look different. What we liked on the IOTS was that you could sit on the balcony and see through the blue glass to the sea but there seems to be a low wall on the Adventure.

Anyone been on it who can let me know what it's like?

    Hi Paul,

I've been on both and found the balcony on the Adventure to be much narrower.
On the Indy I felt I could stretch out a little - not quite big enough for a lounger but spacious for the chair.
On the Adventure it felt just a little more cramped. Your original question - the glass below the handrail was opaque - we were unable to look through it to the sea below.
I assume the sizing ssue would change with cabin category, but the opaque glass appeared to be on all balconies.

Hope you have a fab cruise

We were on Adventure of the Seas last October. We had a D1 cabin on deck 9 and there is a solid piece followed by the glass that is angled outwards. I'll post a photo if I can figure out how to do it!
