Our recent cruise on Radiance of the Seas was our first experience of my time dining and we loved it. We have always had great table companions and waiters before so weren't sure if we were doing the right thing. We were given a table for 2 and always had the same table and waiter no matter what time we went. halfway through the cruise we were asked by 2 other couples we had become friendly with to join them for dinner. We did this and this meant the same time each night but at the same table and with same waiters. yes, this could have happened with traditional dining, but the choice to join those passengers was ours and we already knew we got on well. We have rebooked a RCL cruise and without consultation, both my husband and I said yes to my time dining when asked our preference. maybe we were just lucky.
