    Pacific Princess Clips a Wall

It appears, according to reports, that as Pacific Princess was entering the harbour at Nice, her port side grazed the end of a jetty, allegedly causing a leak. There was no effect upon passengers and crew, but divers were called to look at the damage. As passengers had only one more day on board, going to Barcelona, it has been decided to end the cruise in Nice.

Just as a matter of interest, what would happen to your onward travel plans eg flights home from Barcelona?

I picked up from cc that Princess will cover accommodation and transport costs. Apparently the next 2 cruises are cancelled.

I read about someone due to fly out for Saturday's sailing who was quickly booked on to a ship from Southampton instead... for those who ask how near to sailing can you book, this was 3pm on the day before they sailed.
