    "Balmoral" docking

The "Balmoral" is going into dock for 11/12 days when it returns from its world cruise on Wednesday 21st. Does anyone know what work on the passenger decks is being carried out? I hope they are tidying up the corrosion round many windows. This is not only insightly from the shore but spoils the decor of the cabins.

I'm off on Balmoral on May 3 so interested to hear there is some sort of minor refit.

Pleased to report Balmoral was more than shipshape, minor touching up still going on as we left Dover, new carpets and other furnishings everywhere.

How I wish that all the refurbish had been done BEFORE the world cruise 2010.
