    Mr& Mrs T on QE day4

Well a much needed sea day a late for us Breakfast in the MDR tried the Eggs Benedict ,not as good as they are in Café Jardin on Oceana but I have never had better than those yet?
They held the Christmas Market in the Queens room usual type of seasonal stuff had a look round and bought a Cuddly Toy for a Neighbours little girl ,after that we attended the port talks for Copenhagen and tried lunch in the MDR which is open every day including port days, good selection tried the Fish pie which was excellent.
Plenty of things to do or not do in our case but we tried the Classical pianist Mathew McCombie nothing to heavy just some nice popular classics .then of to the Yacht Club for Name that Tune (came Last) but good fun. Tonight is the Captains Welcome Reception so early shower and change then see how it goes.
As today is the first sea day it gave us a better insight as to who our fellow passengers are ,age wise a very varied bunch the biggest group I would think are the older cruisers but plenty of young ones and more than expected family groups some with babies, plenty of other nationalities an international mix. Found that the ship has several laundry rooms on board which have a couple of washers and dryers in each, they look brand new they may not get a lot of use? Up till now this is a friendly a cruise as we have been on never short of a conversation at meal times plenty of happy cruisers ,staff and food very good hope it carries on .
We attended he Captains party a short affair and you had a choice of which way to enter the Queens room one way to meet the Captain or the other way .Captain Chris Well would be the last person you would say was a the Captain just by looks ,but he is and a very funny man ,he introduced the ships Officers and informed us that there are about 1650 pax on board, from several different countries.
The meal in the MDR was excellent a Scallop starter followed by a Crab and Shrimp Ravioli and for desert a Belgian Chocolate Soufflé all of it delicious. The show last night was called Sing where the ships singers did whole show with a 19 piece band all onstage again not bad at all ,meet our friends in the Commodore Club for a chat and night cap.
Copenhagen tomorrow late arrival 1pm and an overnight stay in port…Taffy

I'm enjoying your blog Taffy. We walked from the ship to Tivoli Gardens this summer, and it was quite a distance. I'm sure it's magical this time of the year.
