    Teas and coffees on Costa

    Hi,

Can anyone help with this, probably, silly question. Having never sailed with Costa before, (we are on the Deliziosa in December), we have heard that you have to pay for beverages!
Does that mean that you cannot get tea or coffee during the day without paying for it.
On all the other cruise lines we have sailed with, machines have been available in the self service restaurants.

    Any answers please

Lynn if you look at the side of the coffee machines there are sachets of Nescafe and Nescafe decaff YEUCHAVEE, never been able to spell that word, if you do not like the coffee from the machines. Just use the hot water option.;))

Lynn just remember no question is trivial. all questions are important to the person asking the question. hope you enjoy your cruise with or without coffee. :D

Indeed. Certainly the cappuccino on MSC was cheap and very good. Whereas the free coffee on Princess and Celebrity ships is horrid.

Just come back from a Costa cruise, tea and coffee free in the buffet areas for most of the day. If you want coffee after dinner ask your waiter and explain you do not want speciality coffee.

I was on the SPLENDIDA last week, TEA and COFFEE are free during BREAKFAST and TEA TIME only, else you have to pay for it.

I was on the COSTA 2 years ago TEA and COFFEE are free all the time.

Lynn as everyone has said tea, coffee and water is free in the buffet. however you do not get offered tea or coffee after your meals in MDR but if you want to finish your meal with a coffee or tea just ask the waiter and they will bring you some. if I remember correctly room service is only free for breakfast.

Surely we've all heard people talking about "the cost of coffee, is too expensive" maybe someone misheard and proclaimed it " The Costa Coffee is too expensive"..... Just a thought.:D .......Neil
