I understand some people have an infinity for old ships.i sailed a few with Thomson.

But I must say in over 70 cruises Aurora was the worst ship and the worst cruise I have ever been on,,,gods waiting room.
Its were the saying 'catching flies must have come from,,,,I saw more people's tonsils on that cruise........

edit,,,,Boudicca is the worst ship I've ever been on,,thank god it was only one night.
Maybe FO could scrap Boudicca and replace it with Aurora,,it would be a marginal improvement.

    Just saying!!!!

I did a 3 nighter on her some years back. I was probably then half the age of the average passenger on-board, yet I still enjoyed the ship and cruise.

      Each to their own!

Following the departure of Oriana, Aurora has become our favourite ship.

Theatre, show lounge, cinema, sports bar, quiet bar (Anderson’s), crows nest, library, cards room and so on. What’s not too like?

Climbing walls, dodg‘ems, water shoots etc. are fine but not for us.

None of the P & O ships have any of those.
It may not be that any of the P & O ships go.as Carnival is such a big brand. Not exclusively, but generally with ships it's the oldest ship that goes.
