Cherbourg ~ La Cite de la Mer exhibitions

I am considering a trip to the La Cite de la Mer exhibition in Cherbourg and I was wondering if anyone had visited this previously and had any extra information. I've already had a look at the website but hearing from someone "real" is always better.

The visit to the redoubtable Submarine sounds rather exciting especially for the children along with Europe's deepest Aquarium.

Also any idea on the latest ticket prices ~ the ones on the website are from 2009.

    Hi Shelley,

This is 'second hand' info as I haven't been. But friends of ours with a 12 year old son went and thought it was really good, especially the submarine!

I expect you have already looked on 'Trip Advisor'?

To be honest, there isn't much else to do in Cherbourg, although I quite like the 'old town', it isn't very 'gripping' in my view!

    Regards, Lizzie.

      Hi Lizzie,

Not looking at gripping, just strolling round chilling out time. If her 12 year old liked it mine will ~ boys are very much alike I have found
