    Cruise Inc - Sun 7th Feb - 12:30pm - CNBC
    SKY TV Channel: 505

It's the ultimate getaway... an exclusive look inside the $30-billion cruise industry. Correspondent Peter Greenberg (http://www.cnbc.com/id/29507607/) spends seven days aboard the Norwegian Pearl, one of the newest in Norwegian Cruise Line's fleet. The 15-story floating city is a destination of its own. It's a hotel, a shopping mall, a casino and full-service Spa - sailing the oceans of the world. And be prepared to spend on everything from oil paintings to Botox!

Big ships cost big money, and one misstep, whether it's bad weather, a late departure or even running short on beer, can mean the difference between profits and loss.

I reckon he's telepathetic, sorry, meant to say telepathic - either that or he gets Jo to scan the TV Times for him.

Thank-you Dave! Now should I give you the answer after all those kinds words....................oh ok then...........

Good ole iPhone, download the free Sky TV app (where you can remote record) and you can search on any programme coming up on any sky channel. I simply put in 'cruise' about once a week and see what comes up. Simples

The best we can do here today is 'America's Next Top Model' which is on Greek TV in 10 minutes. It's strangely compulsive...

You did not miss a lot - some interesting stats but not a lot of new information 92% full - only break even with a very good week in the casino - also some info on the inputs to the ports of call in the Caribbean.

Not anywhere near as engaging as the Jane McDonald 'The Cruise' series, then?

Yes was very 'USA presented' format. However you pick on the same point I did. They said it was a 'poor' cruise as it only left 94% occupied, they aim for 104% occupancy; that is each cabin they target for 2 people occupancy, if there are kids or 3rd passengers in cabins this takes it over the 100% target.

They must be operating on mighty tight margins; also excursions = do 75% of passengers REALLY book an excursion at EVERY port?

You can get too much of a good thing. I was especially annoyed as OH was recording golf from Dubai and watching football! We didn't need to be recording any more golf, believe me:mad::mad:
