Much as I like her, I just hope she doesn't start singing.

I like her cruising programmes but hate the singing bit at the end

Sadly she lost her husband (or is it partner?), Ed, recently.

26th March he was a childhood connection and finally she got settled after meeting him again in 2008.

I nearly tagged this onto a previous thread but the title was still "too soon"

If I remember correctly, he was a member of the group The Searchers, who were among my favourites way back when.

Anybody watch the programme last night? It was good to see a bit of this new ship, the Sky Princess, particularly as she will be sailing ex UK later this year (hopefully),

It turned out to be part one of a Caribbean cruise, travelling further west next week it seems, Poor lass lost her voice a couple of days into the cruise.....a bit ironic really.

Still, it was nice to see a bit of sun and blue seas.

Four of us hired a boat on the Thames for a week over forty years ago, from Wallingford.

We blocked the ruddy river by The Head of the River. Hugely entertaining for the pub goers and mildly embarrassing for us as we got stuck on a sandbank!!! Great fun.
