Booked this grade as an A4 guarantee. The staterooms on this deck have a larger balcony which was a bonus, but I quickly began to pick up an intermittent noise which was irritating, and became like a dripping tap, waiting for it to start up again. I thought at first it was the sound of a toilet flushing but it isn't that. Our steward said no-one else had ever commented about a problem but we established that the room service kitchen is immediately below this cabin and I did wonder whether the very loud "whoosing" sound could possibly be something like a waste disposal unit. Not much problem overnight apart from one night when it happened about 6 times in quick succession at 1 am ...Carol
Thanks, Carol, this is exactly why this thread was opened. ....Neil

        A283 - AURORA
The noisiest cabin ever!! Clunking all day and all night, drove me nuts. Thank goodness it was just for the weekend, I would have killed someone through sleep deprivation if any longer!!!

For the record BEST CABIN, Eclipse on 9270, HUGE balcony, big enough for a party! Next to the lifts

If I couldn't sleep at night I would blame the Wine Waiter.

He must have watered down the wine to wake me from my stupor!

Very welcome Blondebratz This thread was started to give some warning. Just to say we booked my Aunt on a A4 guarantee and she was upgraded to an A7 so it could be worth a gamble for you. Cunard are known for upgrading so fingers crossed...Carol
