I don't expect that Greens have Christmas cards as they are made from trees, So we are provably all off the Christmas Email list instead.

You see...I have NO idea how to be green...apart from crossing the BoB occasionally.

                  Jimmy a Question for you:

"When you create an on-line survey are you aware how much energy that consumes"?

(I hear one Google search is equal to boiling a kettle full of water!)

Christmas cards, and all paper products, are made from renewable trees. Besides paper recycling, the Scandinavian forests are harvested on a cycle, and are replanted. It is a sustainable industry. It is cutting down the Brazilian rain forest and the American Redwoods that is non sustainable.

I don't send Christmas Cards though, as the manufacture process is wasteful. I use E-mail with one of my digital photos instead.

Have been in the practice of sending a christmas letter by e-mail with photos attached or embedded to a few friends and this is increasing year by year thereby reucing the cost of card and postage.

I think after doing that survey a Green holiday would be very boring,

I am interested where food is sourced from and have sometimes queried the waiters. For example I would never touch veal that is "crated" but humanely produced veal is now considered a better option than just slaughtering the bull calves at birth.

I give up on the towel issue. I am very happy to re-use towels but they always seem to replace them no matter how well I try to re hang them...Carol
