If you go on the Pathe News site - you can spend hours trawling through previews from various newsreels.
This one is of the Tug Calshot - charged with taking the body of Commodore Sir Edgar Brittan - Master of "Queen Mary" for burial at sea.
HIS LAST VOYAGE - British Pathe

There are lots of cruise ships - with tugs."The Way of a Ship" starts with some fishing port clips but the rest is devoted to life aboard the "Oransay" - marvellous to compare the way in which cruising has changed over the years.

Just type something like Cunard into the search box and reams of newsreels come up.........all facinating viewing.

This is a brilliant piece of nostalgic cruising footage.

The best bit is near then end where they show one of the highlights of olden day cruising - the Passengers Fancy Dress parade. You will have to watch it to see how inventive they were. I remember as a child just how everyone rallied around to get everything together, the whole of the ships staff would go to great lengths to get you anything needed for your costume.

This is a Photo I took of the Tug Calshot, whilst on a visit to Southampton, during our visit to Adonia, during the Inaugral Ships visit weekend.

It can also been seen in this photo of Queen Victoria, Hythe Ferry and the IOW High Speed Ferry Red Jet.
