Day One of My Silversea Adventure

I have been lucky enough to fly World Traveller Plus to Kingston and also very lucky to use the BA Executive lounge. Firstly the lounge was brilliant I would definitely pay to use it again. There was a good variety of pastries, fruit, cereals and every drink you can think of on offer. We also had the use of the washrooms and the WIFI.

World Traveller Plus with British Airways was very comfortable with extra leg room, enhanced menu with Beef and vegetables followed by Chocolate torte and afternoon tea with sandwiches and scones, very high quality food. The in flight entertainment was great with all the latest tv series and new released films on offer.

We arrived at the Hilton Rose Hall for our one night stay, as we arrived quite late it was straight to bed. Breakfast was brilliant I had a freshly made omelette of my choice. I would recommend staying there with families as there was a wide variety of entertainment, a lovely beach and several swimming pools with water slides.

Midday we transferred to the Silver Spirit in Falmouth, what a lovely port with lots of small stalls offering clothes and gifts. The port almost feels like a small friendly village.

On embarkation we were greeted with a smile and a glass of champagne, how fabulous. The staff seem genuinely happy to help. We met our butler who's name is Mark he put us at ease straight away and showed us around, I will post tomorrow all about the ship as we have a guided tour to look forward to!
