Celebrity Constellation, the beds or rather the mattresses went down on the outside so you had to stop yourself from sliding to the floor, asked for both mattresses to be changed and was told there were no spares left, no problem on any other ships.CG

Cunard mattresses and pillows are first class and certainly aid a good nights sleep.

        Ventura

I agree, Cunard beds are pretty good, but not as good as the beds on Holland America.

Worst? Fred Olsen's old Black Prince, then MSC Magnifica ... felt like trying to sleep on concrete.

Best? Celebrity Equinox, also most of P&O's were OK

The worst mattress we had was on thomson celebration. Springs coming through and holes. The best being Cunard and R/C.

Worst was on the Norwegian Spirit. Dreadfully thin mattresses and even a mattress topper made it no better.

If I couldn't sleep on a cruise ship I would blame the wine waiter.

He must have watered it down...........

They must have bought a job lot with the Irish Ferries.

They weren't even mattresses, just a piece of three inch foam ..........Wilba

Worst beds and mattress -Thomson Spirit. Best pillows - Fred Olsen (feather, I emailed them when we got home to ask the make, they didn't reply). Best overall, RCI, egg box memory foam mattress topper the best ever sleeps we had. On return home, bought one immediately, sweet dreams ever since.

                              Carol (Guy)

For our second Hull crossing in a club class cabin I took some blow up pillows....
                              Not much better ...

Fell asleep exhausted after all that puffing and blowing. Will pack some normal pillows next time.

Almost as bad as the mattress
