I received 2 cancellation emails yesterday afternoon, first from Celebrity cancelling our sailing on Apex 27 May out of Barcelona. Second was from my travel agent cancelling Edge sailing on 4 June (this was a small future cruise deposit paid onboard in 2019 which we had intended moving anyway).

I honestly don’t expect us to be able to cruise this year however much I wish it were otherwise. We will be very lucky to be able to go on a land based holiday towards the autumn. Our daughter and her husband (and now their son) haven’t had a holiday for a couple of years owing to a number of factors including Covid. Goodness knows when we will be able to take going on a holiday for granted again.
Take care and stay well. Helen

That ties in with Donald of Carnival Group's comments from last week.
Maybe we should run another book - in which month will the 1st cruise ship depart from SOTON in 2021.
