    Are men discriminated against ?

In the early days of 2020 I seem to remember that men were said to be twice as likely to catch the dreaded Virus as women. Surely this is a good argument for men to be given first place in the queue to get vaccinated....??

That’s a good argument not sure how far it will get you though.

Maybe they should be shielded instead, while they stay in and do the housework.

        Nice wind up attempt Stan

So all those middle class male managers working from home should be vaccinated ahead of women working in customer facing roles ??

Could be why I have had mine brfore my wife, on the other hand it could be because my wife is younger than me 🤔😎

May and me? have just received our vaccinations a few days ago ,having both reached the age of 80 in November. We are toying with the idea of throwing a cocktail party for folks aged 80 plus who have been vaccinated and have reached 95% immunity. The drinks would be cocktails only, we would like to design some of our own which would be more relevant than the classic "Sex on the Beach" .One example will be a mixture of Cointreau, Vermouth ,joined by a slice of fresh Valencia orange ,and a generous sprinkling of Viagra, which we plan to christen "Wishful Thinking" or "Dream on". Can any members suggest any more suitable new cocktails and names?

The demographic of who gets sick, ends up in hospital, then ICU, then dies has changed.

Not a good idea to be working from 9month old data.

Even now who catches the virus is not a good metric.

I didn't relate that 'handle' to you, Stan, but now I know, I know you!

Your Cocktail - how about:- 'A Hard Day's Night'? Or 'A Stiffener'? Or, 'Upfront'?

Hi Gill...just sent your joke with the French ladies singing about Brexit to every body. .brilliant . I bet if Solent Richard had to name a cocktail it would have to have the word "Cunard" in it...

TC Stan was just starting a lighthearted topic.
