I wonder how long they last before there is another outbreak of Covid on board.

TUIcruises seem to have managed to avoid an outbreak so far.
3 weeks since they started the Blue cruises.

MSC restarting was reported here 2 weeks ago before they finalised the dates, with an update of the dates a week later on that thread.

It will be interesting to see what happens. Calling at 3 Italian ports where cases are rising it could easlly be brought on board.

I read that the passengers can not go ashore, unless they are on an MSC excursion.

Lets hope everything put in place is a success, and the start of good times again .................................................. .....Carol

Cases are not rising as rapidly in Italy as they are in the UK - fact.

I wish the venture well. The Italians went through a torrid time earlier this year and most of Europe turned their back on them.

Too soon tbh but there’s always someone who wants to be “first” but at what cost.

There is more to Europe than the EU as you know.

The shore ex thing is real stick with the organized tour or you get kicked off the cruise.

MSC would have to pay me a shed load of money to become a guinea pig in their human experiment of getting back to cruising.

Even on one of their trips you'll still come into contact with folks who are likely to be asymptomatic.

And then the Covid is back onboard not just for the cruise you're on but the next one through the crew..

                              No thanks
