    Immunity Certificates

    Hi All

Should a valid Covid 19 Immunity Certificate or Covid 19 Vaccination Certificate (if one is found) be presented before you are allowed to board a ship??

Something akin to the Yellow Fever Certificate??

Also if you were in possession of such a certificate, should that make obtaining travel insurance less costly??

    Just thinking out loud.

    Annie

PS I appreciate no system will be 100% fool proof.

Possibly, but we're some way off being able to prove anyone is immune yet, even those who've had the virus.

Good idea, but it is a bit early to form an opinion.

Great idea, there would soon be a cottage industry of scammers making false certificates.
Apparently the reason why the Track and Trace being trialled on the IOW hasn't been rolled out yet is because within hours of it going live the usual hackers had gotten into it sending out false Covid infection messages.

          Nice people.

We have a large round building in Cheltenham, surely they could track and trace these hackers, If they are in the UK kick a few doors in and big fines/prison sentences, might just stop them, if overseas ????

A few false reports are the least of the problems with the app its been a security/privacy sieve.

The first link from earlier this month suggest some very sloppy development practices

A certificate would be a good idea but it will only be valid for the date your test was proven negative. No one is sure if anyone who’s had the virus will be immune or for how long. Having the vaccine would be the best and safest option IMO.
don't want to work, just want to cruise.
