Have a great time and I'm sure the weather will be a vast improvement on what we've got at the moment. Could do with some lovely Mediterranean sunshine right now πŸ˜‰

We had a great time on Dream and Marella have a great cruise product which we always enjoy and I'm sure you will do too.

Hi Sue. Yes, your upcoming cruise sounds great. If you haven’t been to Malaga before have a wander around, it is one of my favourite places in Spain. By the way, the tip about using First Defence on a flight has saved our bacon a few times in the past couple of years. Enjoy yourselves.😁

          Take care, Helen

We used first defence when going ashore and on tours on Boudicca. We went to some pretty dodgy places and never had so much as a sniffle in 28 nights. I'm not sure it would be effective against coronavirus but it worked for us. Tbere was a lot of coughing going on.

Definitely go for.it and enjoy. I'm on the search for autumn as I have just (today) paid the balance for our Alaska cruise in May. It's funny but when we first started cruising, we used to go about every 18 months, now if I don't get 2 a year in I feel cheated and thats on top of any land based holidays. 😜

Me too. I don't like having none booked. Just started looking for Jan next year. We have a bit of a plan but nothing booked yet.

4 or 5 weeks m India then cruise back to UK It is prooving to be a bit more complicated than I first though. Although quite a few ships are in the right place at the right time, Colombo, goa and Cochin, only Black Watch will let us on. The others are not designated boarding ports so would have to pay from previous boarding port and try to get permission for boarding.

We go in 3 weeks on cruise to Mediterranean and we also call in at Malaga (never been). We have done quite well this year as we have a cruise in March, land based in April, land based in July, land based in August, cruise in October, land based in November and then we have to wait until the following April when we go for a 2 weeks cruise to the Canaries and it starts all over again.

                  Enjoying holidays keeps us going.

I start to get worried when we have no cruises in the pipeline as the fear there will be no deals starts to kick in, most years this is unfounded and we end up doing a few.

Looking at the history we did OK up to 2016/17 then we had two nearly one year gaps with cruise trips on Nov 2015(10n+4), Nov 2016(14n) Oct 2017(25n).
Done better since, 2018 and 2019 found 6 each year.

This year has started with the uncertainty around the Arabian Gulf and SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19, we have to be careful up to mid April then we can take advantage of any deals if there is suppressed demand or a rush to fill redeployed ships.

Dream is getting close to Malaga now, ETA 14:00, should be ready for tomorrow.

Shame there was a hiccup with Muzzic unlimited getting to the ship, one of the best party bands at sea.
