Has anyone noticed if cruise fares are being discounted more than usual due to the current corona virus situation. They will have to do something to entice new folks to book a cruise.

I have started looking at ex UK as it has been a while since we have done round Britains or Norway they make great last minute fillers without having to fly..

A couple I will be watching closely have started to get price drops in the US UK prices have not moved with those.

Princess are 12n trips under £1k UK prices they usually go down to £700 will be interesting as final payments hit if they have to cut prices further as these are aimed at Americans.

Some late booking solo rates around as the supplements get cut.

Cruises out of Civitavecchia might be worth watching chances are late flight might be available as well.

TD, Could you please remind me how to post a.New Topic on the Forum. I wanted to put this in the Solo section, but I’ve looked and can not seem to find the page. Many thanks, Jan
I saw that cruise. I was tempted to cancel my May arrangements to take advantage of the price, but decided against it.

Looks like a TA package cabin dump.

I've been keeping an eye of several P&O cruises over the coming months and not one balcony price has shifted once

I am seeing the odd cheap package popping up from the usual candidates.
Don't think they are into steal pricing yet but flights can be a significant contribution
    Eg.
MSC £600 16n TA Miami->Southampton in April is a cheap one.

There will probably be more TA options if you can find flights.

Most of the current(March) itinerary we're probably in final before the severity of the situation was known.
