I've seen a few people board as Luggage
        - and disembark as Cargo!

        Not a pretty sight!

Maybe I am not trying hard enough but I don't seem to put on very much at all. I find the choice is so interesting often with gorgeous fruit and salads that I eat more of them than I would normally. We also seem to walk far more than we do at home (and actually get off this computer!) and so take more exercise that way. The answer is to have a little of what you fancy and enjoy yourself..Carol

                  Must agree.
I return from cruises with my leg muscles toned and in far better condition
than here at home, sitting in front of this computer chatting wiv yew lot.

I reckon one has to be a fairly serious glutton to put on pounds and pounds
although to be fair there are people whose metabolic rates
seem to cling to every shred of caloric intake
My wife has an endless struggle with it: I don't.

                  Ooooooh!

I pick and chose quite a bit.
I'll sometimes skip a starter course, or a main course.
Never skip dessert -that's against my religion! :D

                  Someone pointed out that
very few of us eat three course dinners at home
and suddenly, there you are stuffing it all in!

                  Moderation is the key.

I suggested to DW about losing before we go in December. But she she said we've got Christmas as soon as we get back so what's the point.
So wait for the pounds to go on :D

I agree Aplmac, I have been known to lose weight on a cruise. Wonderful salads, gym on tap, step classes most days, who needs health farms and spa's.

                            Definitely Carol,
Nothing like a few layers of fat to keep the heat in. :D

With the price of gas it is cheaper to put a few pounds on to the keep the heat in, rather than put the central heating on. Thats my excuse anyway.
