    Anytime Dining

    Hi All

Just asking - do you know of any cruise line that does not have the anytime dining/flexible dining option??

      Why am I not surprised??

What alternative does a cruiser have in the scenario of unsociable table mates?? grin and bear it!

You could ask to move tables, and failing that, you'd have to go to the buffet! .................................................. .....................................Carol

Some lines have single seating allocated table, come when you want dining.

Ask to move tables, no demand to move tables.

On Fred's ships, the alternative is buffet style dining, although waiters are on hand and the tables are laid up just as they are in in the MDR. I know of a few fellow cruisers that prefer the buffet because of the time flexibility.

We have never felt the need to change tables in the MDR but wouldn't hesitate to ask the Maitre D' should we want to.

I'm a bit apprehensive about the dining arrangement on our next cruise - Queen Victoria - as we've gone for the saver fare so no idea whether or not we'll have to share. I'm hoping for a table for 2, second sitting. We'll see!
