    Music Cruises 2022

Got told about one yesterday so thought its time to do a 2022 music thread.

Since the withdrawal of the AUS company that tried music charters in the UK looks like Imagine are filling the void.

    First up for the thread.

    Virgin Voyages Valiant Lady

    21st March 2022 11nights

Canaries run with the usual port(5) selection overnight in Lisbon.

    80's theme

    from £1,500pp
    • Enhanced Entertainment Programme – Sing along to one of the 80s most powerful and expressive voices, Tony Hadley; Be serenaded by co-headliner soul man supreme Martin Fry, lead singer of ABC; Get ready for a dose of "Girl Power" as T'Pau, Toyah and Altered Images take to the stage and party the night away as a stellar line up of 80s celebrity DJs play some of the era's most epic anthems.

Cunard always have a National Symphony Orchestra cruise on QM2 per year, and without looking, probably other music themed cruises too.
If it wasn't for the fact it's QM2 we would give it a try.

We were once on board QM2 on an eastern bound TA with the NSO, although had not booked it because of the orchestra.
They did some enjoyable concerts and we were both in the choir for the Last Night of the Proms. There were 2 performances that night, for the 2 dinner sittings, with choir members being in the one to suit their own dinner times. Grills diners were able to choose which one they wanted to sign up for.
Rehearsals meant that we saw more of the orchestra members.
I remember one of the first things covered in the first rehearsal was an explanation of the Last Night for non British guests.

Tasty price drop on this one, now starts at £1099
        (came in via travelzoo)

        Balcony £1,399
