How does it work when you make a guarantee cabin booking.

In this case Cunard Princess Grill QM2.

    Hi Wirzul,

It means you are guaranteed the lowest grade of Princess Grill Cabin, which on QM2 is a P3, your cabin might be allocated well in advance or, at worst, on the day of embarkation!

You might get lucky & be allocated a P2 or P1 or even Queens Grill, you never know your luck!

    Have a great time!

Guarantee bookings are the best kept secret ;) .. I've use them for years with Cunard ( when travelling solo) and so far have never been disappointed.

You will have already arranged with the TA your chosen stateroom category within P. Grill. You are still guaranteed your category however, you could be in line for an upgrade to a 'higher' catergory ( but not lower) within P. Grill, or even further into the next level Q. Grill.

Most people don't have any problems with this type of booking unless you are travelling with friends or family and need to be on a specific deck or area, ie Forward, midships etc.

You can check the progress of your booking on line up to 24 hours before you depart, any changes will have already been made or could even be changed at check-in. Don't worry, any changes and your luggage 'will' find you..... Don't go hunting for it !
