NCL flash sale with air credit

NCL have a flash sale with £250pp air credit which can be more than the flights.

example for 30 March. Jade 9 night Rome to Athens.

Had some Epic's priced up but they are only 7n wanted longer.


Been looking at the Getaway again two May ones 10n Southampton to Copenhagen and a 9n round trip Copenhagen.

That 9n round trip prices up, AI, Tips, flights(LHR) and transfers £890pp picked inside cabin (solo or 2pax get a cabin each).

If that is before the £250 air credit £640==£71pppn
Balcony should be under £100pppn

I checked BA flights and there may be some option to squeeze that a bit by adding a night in Copenhagen before/after, hotel costs eliminate the savings, more time in Copenhagen
There is a late flight Sat after the cruise which gives 2 full days with the overnight.

When I first looked at this one back in Feb the lead in price was over £800 before the addons.

Dawn UK cruises should price up good with the flight.

Seeing £575 for the 10n 24th may add £120 grats and £149 free at sea ~£750 inside gty
Pick a cabin is usually only a few £more

I got a price for the Baltic 18th May you have to phone to get the final prices with the air, £750pp inside OV was ~£175 more and Balcony ~£350


14 June the Getaway 13n TA is down to £404 lead in, Balcony £577
free at sea £149 and grats £156
pick an inside £760 Solo or 2 pax,

How does the air credit work? Do you find the flights yourself and pay for them yourself and ythen get reimbursed, or does NCL find/allocate the flights and charge me the difference (if any) over and above the £250 pp?

I phone my NCL consultant with the cruise we were considering.

Pick cabin get price, then added flights we wanted from LHR.
Price went down.

They don't do all available flights/airlines.

Use NCL or a TA you can't do these on line.
Also you get to choose your flights.
Not sure it reduces the chance they will change them.

Thanks for your quick and comprehensive reply. I was kind of thinking that they wouldn't do some airlines. I'll be flying from Belfast to Brcelona and the only airline would be Eastjet. I doubt that NCL would sanction them. As you suggest, I'll call my TA in the morning and see what they can come up with. Thanks again.

I don't know who they would use for Belfast.
As the fare might drop if you add air you could consider booking with flight you won't need and no show not tried it or asked.

We had some cheaper fly options but had BA LHR direct flights that fitted with extra day each end.

FOLLOW UP ... Just rang NCL and the lady said that the £250 pp airfare credit wasn't available for Belfast airports, only London airports!
