    Northern Lights Promise

This is a great time to be looking to book a cruise to see the famous phenomenon that is the Northern Lights

Hurtigruten have released a New Northern Light's Promise which means they are s confident that you will see the Northern Lights between Oct 15 and Feb 16, that if you cruise with them and don't see the lights they will give you a cruise next year free of charge!

Since 1893 Hurtigruten have been exploring the Norwegian Coast and within this 12 day cruise you will visit up to 34 different ports of call along this coast as you travel up the Norwegian Coast from Bergen to Kirkenes before returning southbound back to Bergen,

Cruise from Just £1199pp Including return flights and transfers from London Gatwick,

Hurtigruten's ruling, which is final, on a 'sighting' is even if it's just a few minutes as viewed by the ship's deck officers on the bridge and which is announced to passengers. A "few" minutes can be as little as two minutes - barely time to get on deck from down below. Further, considering that Hurtigruten ships call in to ports in the wee small hours does this include 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6am?

Loads of wriggle room from Hurtigruten. Maybe I'm just too cynical.
