Haven't cruised RCI for a considerable number of years. I know their Drinks packages were pricey then. Out of interest what are they charging these days?

I'm already booked on for 15 October. I had a very good price for a junior suite, which means extra points to get me to 340, and better solo prices.

I don't know about the price of drinks packages, but Diamond members are entitled to 4 free drinks per day, Diamond Plus can have 5 and Pinnacle can have 6. That will do me nicely.

        Hi Bradbury
I asked a couple of weeks ago when pricing one the cruises TD mentioned.
It was from memory £55pppn ,,,,,,,but you do get a free Coca Cola cup.

It would have been ~£700 for the 6 nighter I was looking at.
I have looked at a few cruises the last few weeks.

Celebrity is All Included in the price.
Princess as you probably know is £30
        P&O is £39.95
Fred Olsen is £19 but own brands only.

I get the OH diamond drinks so can manage a short cruise PAYG.
(Your favourite bartender usually sorts you out)

I think anthem still has diamond lounge.

              thanks,

My trial booking there were cabins available just outside which is great even if a bit aft.

The short cruise(5,6) currently not so attractive with travel overhead.

FO is looking better value, for Oct.
Or use the Oct funds to boost the November option where NCL is top of the list.

I’ve received several emails about a cruise I’ve booked for next September and they’re quoting £47.88 plus grat per day.

Some very decent pricing TD but the lack of the “drinks included” could make it an expensive cruise. That said, the diamond lounge would be an obvious stop for us too. The operating hours are also much better than Celebrity. We’ve been lucky with the diamond lounge staff on several ships, always topping you up before you leave the lounge to go for dinner. Couldn’t tell you the last time we didn’t have a drinks package tho as we’ve more or less stuck with Celebrity over the past 4/5 cruises. We would be diamond plus by now if we’d pushed all our business towards RCI

It was a little different on this cruise. You have 4 drinks loaded onto your card instead that you could use at any bar throughout the day. No happy hour in the lounge

Sorry different subject but you guys sound like seasoned cruisers with Royal Caribbean and can maybe help me out... I am currently trying to decide between a normal size ocean view balcony cabin on the new Wonder of the Seas and one of the larger ones . The room is the same size I believe- just the balcony itself is a little larger. Do you know if you get anything else for your money? eg a sunlounger as well as a chair. Many thanks if anyone can advise!
