Note to self, adjust the table auto sizing to get the date to fit.

No massive change in prices for some time.
Inside cabins have been added, some are the same price as OV but for later dated cruises they are a cheaper option.
might take a bit of time fort he new international cruise rules to filter through they may hold off any price drops to see if more people start booking.

We were eyeing up the Southampton to Palma trip in September but there isn't a package for the return flight and with nothing mentioned about having facilities for taking a test 2 days prior to coming back when you arrive in Palma then I lost interest.

People are calling to get the flights sorted for that one.

We are probably going to skip August now(unless that 20th 7nights goes dirt cheap) and looking at the Sept ones which are a decent number of nights, prices are a lot higher than I like for these

I was looking at the Newcastle to Malaga cruise but like the Southampton to Palma there's no return flight. Just got back from Newcastle to Shetland cruise and the safety measures onboard Explorer 2 were really good. Mass testing before boarding, limit of 4 in lifts, every other table out of action, no seating allowed directly behind/ in front or next to you in the theatre, lots of signage and sanitisers around the ship, daily digital temperature checks, strict adherance to staff only dispensing drinks. putting food onto dishes and using napkin wrapped cutlery in buffet. Staff did politely remind you with a smile if you forgot to put your mask back on or as I saw one lady when she tried to take extra cutlery. It felt fairly safe having a good amount of space with the ship only half full and I bet there was less food wastage.

The most crowded place was the pool deck which we avoided where people abandoned their masks all the time. I suppose sunbathing in a mask is difficult but they should have put them back on when going back into the ship or getting drinks! Not sure how I'd feel with double the amount of people onboard.

Staff were great most were double masked in the restaurants. Interestingly when we chatted to quite a few they had decided they were not going with the ship when it goes to the Caribbean later this year.

Think I've had my cruise fix for a while now.

Southampton Palma new £500 discount code and flight options, Bournemouth, LGW, Bristol

OV £68pppn which is a decent price.

Newcastle relocation also has new £500 code.

Just priced up the 22 Sept 11n Newcastle to Malaga as a SOLO with return flight to Newcastle.

There are 15 Solo outsides(single beds) on deck 5 so friends booking would be close unless upgraded elsewhere.

                £790. that's pretty good for a SOLO 11 night cruise AI.(the £500 code works)

                parking at port £130
                AI upgrade £110

Thanks for posting Td. A really good price, even adding on the AI upgrade. Almost as good as my last Canaries cruise with Fred, 10 nights inc drinks package and a double cabin for sole occupancy.

I’m awaiting a date for a cataract operation and it isn’t sensible to book anything at present and in any case I probably couldn’t get insurance.

Keep posting the deals, especially solo prices.

if you mean the short 3n one I don't think that will get cheap(enough for us : ),

The 11n is down to £79pppn in an OV, balcony is £87pppn (£200pp voucher on that one)

Britannia has a decent deal for the 29th ~£399 7n but only does Liverpool

I thought I would log into my TUI account to see if there were any extra discounts.

What did come up is a lot more information of testing kits for flying out/back and some prices for test to release, which might still be needed for these relocation cruises.

Now I need to work out what is needed, and then again if the itinerary changes.

these were the 2 links that worked.

As kind of expected Marella are dropping prices as the cruises get closer.

They removed the Cruise2021 code for £200 off and did some adjustments most prices are about the same or more..

The key change of interest is the 30 Aug 11n cruise prices dropped and with their £400 off code are now from £850

                          £68pppn inside or OV
                          £76pppn balcony
                          £120pppn top suites

Also reports are you can go ashore DIY if fully vaccinated.

There are also a number of solo options still available on the fly cruises and Newcastle 30Aug
As well as the Newcastle relocation before the 22 Sept Southampton relocation starts at £66pn Solo rate(cheaper than the 2pax rate pp)

The 3 night options BH weekend are still very high better value elsewhere

Our fav option is the 22nd relocation to Palma but still has risk and test requirements, might just take the 30th and review if we do both or delay international in the hope it gets clearer what will be happening.

for those that may be interested the 30th cruises are 11n UK only

Still kicking myself over the BHW 3n from S'ton on 27th - icy people had 'exclusive' deal weekend before last £325 balcony . Booked time off work on 9th went to book on 10th and it had shot back up to £470

That's a tough one, the longer ones are definitely better value if you can find time.

Still worth watching the 3n for a super late deal

If I was looking for shorty it would be inside on Regal Princess £250 4n I can do princess without the drinks package.

What a difference a day makes.

The two 30Aug 11n trips have had another £47pp knocked off.

Solo on the Newcastle one is now under £70pn.

Just looked back to the first post in June the Southampton one was £1470 then they did a £125pp off now coming in at £702pp
