Absolutely. There's not enough of this sort of thing anywhere in the travel industry. We tried to price a multi-centre holiday to the USA a few weeks ago, and it was a bloody nightmare.

Grant, I think Cruise.co.uk should hire us to help them out :-)

      Better still, you hire me.

We've put many a multi centre holiday together in the US over the years, without the help of a T.A.

      Edit
...and that includes add on cruises too but direct with the cruise line. Of course, these days, it's a cruise dot booked cruise!

        Agree Mrs M.

We did it ourselves in the US for a couple of years, not cruising but flights, booking individual hotels for a few nights here and there, and car hire for our own itinerary; it's not rocket science.

If we were to do the same using a few cruises, then we would certainly DIY and put together the package ourselves.

It would get me back to the organising that I love, now I just do research on ports of call as we can't fly any more.

I just think the process is needlessly time consuming when you're playing with different dates and options. Of course we were able to do it and it wasn't especially challenging, I'm just surprised there isn't some sort of online tool that helps you find flights and prices quickly without perfoming multiple searches.

Not that I'm adverse to a wee spreadsheet to plan and price everything!

There you go. it was the 'bloody nightmare' wot foxed me! Shows how the written word can be 'foxing'.

As to time consuming, not really and it's all part of the fun of putting a great trip together.

Hi all - Sorry it was day off yesterday but just to show your comments have been noted, (we do listen honest), here's an example of the rail-Europe option some of you asked for

              http://www.cruise.co.uk/tailor-made-...1-may-13/5224/

There'll be a lot more of these if they prove popular so feel free to get booking!
