    Photo Eggheads Required Urgently

I only have four days left to crack this before I leave for the Caribbean.

I can successfully add a photo to a post by first reducing the file size to 'smaller' (640) using Photo Gallery in Windows 7.

This appears as a thumbnail, expandable by a mouse click.

I want my images to appear 'large'. I have tried going to edit and save changes as some of you have recommended to no avail.

Now I know I could use Photobucket or similar, but that is out of the question as it means uploading twice, once to Photobucket and once again to the forum. That in turn doubles the internet cost on cruise ships as you all well know.

C'mon Guys and Gals I know the talent is out there ready to help..........Wilba

Hi, I personally find Photobucket a pain to use, but just wondered if Flickr might be quicker? Not tried it myself.

Hope you have a great time on the Ventura Wilba.

      cracked it

      1) resize your photo off line

      2) upload to the forum "cruise gallery"

      3) click the thumbnail to give you a large image

      4) right mouse click the image

      5) select copy

      6) PASTE into the reply box (no other coding needed)

picked these two up from there

Thanks but any upload on the ships is painful on the wallet so I am trying to avoid using any of the web based options...........Wilba

if you have trouble with resizing offline in windos 7 download Picasa and resize using the export button. make a note of where it sends the resized images to (usually a "Picasa Export" folder and upload from that folder

just open a reply box hit enter a couple of times to give a few lines at the top of the page you can go back to, and

right mouse Paste directly into the reply box

Have a go at opening the cruise gallery, choose an image , click on it and then follow my guidelines . it should work

then have a go at uploading one of yours and doing the same

Hi Wilba, I find photobucket a pain, but I don't need to upload twice. I upload the photo and then copy the image code into the URL, unsure if that's worth a shot?

                              Hi Wilba
I can't speak for anyone else but a written blog will be fine for me...just add photos to your review on the forum on your return.
                              Regards
