P&O recently announced the name of the newest ship set to enter there fleet in May 2020, the 5,200 passenger ship will be called Iona. She is currently under construction at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg.

Personally I love P&O and more so the newer bigger ships, Ventura, Azura and Britannia so im sure the Iona will be right up my street and a ship I definitely to get myself on ! They always tick the boxes for my family with there family friendly ship options, great dining and friendly staff.

There are so many amazing new features P&O have advised will be onboard the Iona including a ‘Pleasure Dome’ which is a glass dome located on the top decks 16 and 17 and will house a large amount of the entertainment onboard including a night club called 710, A boutique style 4 screen cinema, A stage around the pool with nightly acrobatic shows , DJs and deck parties! There will be a new gastropub onboard called The Keel and Cow located in the atrium and in the Quays Piazza you can find street food including Asian street food and American diner style options.

You can expect to find P&O’s form favorite venues onboard such as The Glass House , Sindhu, Epicurean and Brodies bar.

The Atrium is set to be 3 storeys high with glass walls and the centerpiece of this fantastic new ship and P&O are sure the Iona will blow passengers away with her beauty, facilities and modern onboard deco.

From September her full list of itinerary’s will be out and available to book so make sure you get ready for P&Os biggest and best ship yet!
